Bridgestone Indonesia Adakan Hands Campaign Video Competition 2017 Jul 01, 2017

 
 
Jakarta – PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia (Bridgestone Indonesia), bagian dari group Bridgestone Corporation, perusahaan ban dan karet terkemuka di dunia, mengumumkan berlangsungnya ajang Hands Campaign Video Competition yang akan dimulai pada 1 Juli 2017 mendatang. Kegiatan kompetisi pembuatan video kampanye keselamatan berkendara khas Bridgestone ini ditujukan bagi para mahasiswa dan komunitas film di Jabodetabek.
 

Tema Hands Campaign dipilih sebagai bagian dari kampanye global Bridgestone akan keselamatan berkendara. Sejak pertama kali diperkenalkan pada ajang GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2016 lalu, program ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi dan mengingatkan para pengemudi bahwa ban merupakan satu-satunya titik kontak antara kendaraan dengan jalan, dimana ban yang menyentuh permukaan jalan tersebut hanyalah sebesar telapak tangan.

 

“Peran ban dalam menjaga keselamatan berkendara sebenarnya hanya ditentukan pada area sebesar telapak tangan yang menyentuh permukaan jalan. Karenanya kualitas dan kemampuan ban yang digunakan harus diperhatikan oleh para pemilik mobil. Bridgestone melalui Hands Campaign berusaha untuk terus mengingatkan para pengguna mobil akan hal tersebut, salah satunya adalah dengan mengadakan video competition ini, yang diharapkan dapat turut membantu sosialisasi program Hands Campaign secara luas kepada Masyarakat Indonesia,” ujar Sales & Marketing Director PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia, Toshihiro Fujiki.

 

Dengan menyasar mahasiswa dan komunitas film dengan usia di antara 18 – 25 tahun, kompetisi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana sosialisasi kampanye keselamatan berkendara yang dapat diterima oleh berbagai kalangan terutama para anak muda. Dengan topik spesifik mengenai ‘Youth View on Hands Campaign’ para peserta kompetisi diharapkan dapat menampilkan pendangan mereka mengenai peran penting ban dalam mendukung keselamatan berkendara.

 

Kompetisi yang dimulai pada 1 Juli 2017 ini, akan berlangsung hingga 31 Juli 2017 untuk kemudian dipilih 10 video terbaik sebagai nominasi pemenang. Ke-10 video yang menjadi nominasi pemenang kompetisi ini mendapatkan kesempatan untuk diputar di booth Bridgestone Indonesia di ajang GIIAS 2017 pada 10 – 20 Agustus 2017 mendatang sebelum kemudian akan dipilih tiga pemenang utama untuk memperebutkan hadiah istimewa. Pemenang kompetisi video ini akan dimumkan pada tanggal 20 Agustus 2017 di Booth Bridgestone di GIIAS 2017.

Bridgestone Indonesia Holds

Hands Campaign Video Competition 2017

 

Jakarta – PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia (Bridgestone Indonesia), a group company of Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s leading rubber and tire company, officially announced Hands Campaign Video Competition which will begin on 1 July 2017. The unique video competition of Bridgestone safety driving campaign is intended for students and film communities in Jabodetabek area.

 

The Hands Campaign theme is selected as part of Bridgestone's global campaign for road safety. Having introduced at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2016, the program aims to educate and reminds drivers that the tire is the only point of contact between the vehicle and the road, where the tire that touches the road surface is just as big as the palm of the hand.

 

“The role of tires in maintaining safety driving is only determined by the area of the palm of the hand that touches the road surface. Therefore, the quality and ability of the tires that are used must be considered by car owners. Bridgestone, through the Hands Campaign, strives to keep reminding car users about it, which is expected to help socialize the Hands Campaign program to the Indonesian Community through video competition,” said Sales & Marketing Director of PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia, Toshihiro Fujiki.

 

By targeting students and film communities aged between 18-25 years old, the competition is expected could be a tool in promoting safety driving campaign that is acceptable to many groups, especially young people. With a specific topic about 'Youth View on Hands Campaign', participants are expected to show their views about the important role of tires in supporting safety driving aspect.

 

The competition will run from 1 July 2017 to 31 July 2017. There will be 10 best videos as the winning nominees. Before the selection of top three winners, the 10 nominated videos will get opportunity to be showcased at Bridgestone Indonesia’s booth at GIIAS 2017 on 10 - 20 August 2017. The winners of the video competition will be announced on 20 August 2017 at Bridgestone’s Booth at GIIAS 2017
